PLECS Model of the Month: Decentralized Interleaving of Paralleled DC/DC Buck Converters

This "PLECS Model of the Month" video was submitted by Dr. Mohit Sinha, a Postdoctoral Researcher at Idaho National Lab, and highlights a communication free, fully decentralized switch-interleaving strategy for paralleled DC/DC buck converters. His approach is based on implementing non-linear oscillators in the converter controls, that due to the intrinsic electric coupling between the converters, drive the connected converters into an interleaved state.
